in Zoology

his first book, The Selfish Gene in 1976

Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 1997
- Richard
Dawkins is married to actress and artist Lalla
Ward. She has illustrated two of
his books, River
out of Eden, and
Climbing
Mount Improbable.
